The State of Florida Office of Small Business Advocate was created by Florida Chapter 2008-149, HB 7109, to serve as the principal advocate for small businesses in Florida.

In line with this charge and the other duties assigned to the OSBA by the legislation, the OSBA is reaching out to small businesses in the state through a series of Small Business Issues Forums to discover the concerns of small business owners in the current economic situation and to explore solutions that may be implemented on a state level to aid in small business success.
